Soy actriz y artista plástica. Nací en Santa Marta, al norte de Colombia, un 18 de

abril de 1971. Desde mi adolescencia tuve curiosidad por la pintura, es así como hice mi primer cuadro a los 14 años.. No volví a tener contacto con los pinceles y lienzos hasta el 2006, año en que me encontraba viviendo en México. Allí tomé

algunos cursos informales de óleo y acrílico. También un taller de dibujo a lápiz.

Solía pintar para mis amigos, como regalo de cumpleaños.

A mi regreso a Colombia, en el 2008, al tiempo que retomo a la actuación, siento la

necesidad de pintar nuevamente, pero en esta ocasión de manera seria y

definitiva en mi vida, lo que me ha llevado a tener la oportunidad de exponer en

tres ocasiones.

Pintar para mi, es el desfogue de mis emociones, es dejarme llevar por lo que

siento, por las imágenes que se proyectan en mi cabeza, es lanzarme a lo

desconocido sin temor al resultado, llevando como único piloto, sólo a mi propio

instinto, es plasmar mi auténtico punto de vista, transmitirlo para sensibilizar y

conectar con todo el que la observa. Es mostrar todo cuanto allá afuera no puedo

decir. Para mi, es la vida misma en un lienzo, es vivir con Verdad.

I am an actress and artist. I was born in Santa Marta, in northern Colombia, on 18

April 1971. Since I was a teenager I was curious about painting, that's how I made my first painting when I was 14 years old. I never had contact with paintbrushes and canvases until 2006, the year I was living in Mexico. There I took

some informal courses of oil and acrylic. Also a pencil drawing workshop.

I used to paint for my friends, as a birthday present.

On my return to Colombia, in 2008, while returning to the performance, I feel the

need to paint again, but this time in a serious way and

definitive in my life, what has led me to have the opportunity to exhibit in

three times

Painting for me is the venting of my emotions, it is letting myself be carried away by what

I feel, for the images that are projected in my head, is to launch myself

unknown without fear of the result, taking as my only pilot, only my own

instinct, is to translate my authentic point of view, transmit it to sensitize and

connect with everyone who observes it. It's showing everything that out there I can not

tell. For me, it is life itself in a canvas, it is living with Truth.
